    I agree. Governor Kitzhaber visited the Sabin-Schellenberg Center in the North Clackamas School District. CTE shows students have a better chance of staying in school and being better prepared for their next steps in life.

    We need to stop teaching students how to work for businesses and start teacing them to think for themselves, encourage creativity and stop teaching people that they have to "find a job". High school for me taught me only how to get credits so I could go to college or how to work for someone else. There was no education about inventory / purchasing / sales / management or how businesses even work. We need to help kids know what it takes to make a business work, how to manage finances, how to ... more
